FROM THE FIRE MARSHAL'S OFFICE
|
Welcome to the HRFD Fire Marshal's Office |
This portion of our website is designed to help the public become more familiar with the permit application process and provide access to several forms that can be downloaded for public use.
On April 1st, 2008, the Jefferson County Building Department and seven fire districts, including HRFD, signed an Interagency Agreement or "One Stop Shop" for residential building permits. This means that a contractor can go to Jefferson County Building Department and drop off plans for a new residence, addition, remodel, fire repair, or mobile home. Once there, they can obtain a Jefferson County Building Permit and the Fire Permit for the district where the construction will occur. At this time, this service is not available for commercial building permits or for residential building permits located in Brynesmill or Scotsdale. High Ridge Fire Protection District accepts checks (Made out to High Ridge Fire Protection District), money orders, and cash. Fire Inspectors are not allowed to accept payment in the field. Payment can only be made at the Administration office located at 2842 High Ridge Blvd, High Ridge, MO, 63049. The Jefferson County Building Department is located in the Annex Building at 725 Maple Street, Hillsboro, MO, 63050, phone number (636) 797-5310. You may contact the Fire Marshal's Office of the High Ridge Fire District by calling (636) 677-3371 or by e-mailing Fire Inspector/Investigator Dave Miller. dmiller@highridgefire.com
